Abstract
ABSTRACT
The Influence of Investment, Government Expenditure, Labor and Economic Openness on Economic Growth in South Sumatra Province. This study discusses the influence of investment, government expenditure, labor and economic openness on economic growth in South Sumatra Province in 2001-2016. The data used for this study uses secondary data, namely PDRB South Sumatera Province. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that partially, government expenditure and economic openness have a significant influence on the economic growth in South Sumatra, while investment has no significant influence on the economic growth of South Sumatra. At the same time, investment, government expenditure, and economic openness influence the economic growth of South Sumatra Province. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) is equal to 0.947. This shows that the percentage of investment contribution, government expenditure, and economic openness to economic growth of South Sumatra Province is 94.7%, while the remaining 5.3% is influenced by other variables besides variables in this study.
