THE TENTH GRADE STUDENTS’ ABILITY IN UNDERSTANDING CORRELATIVE CONJUNTION AT SMA NEGERI 3 OKU

This study aims to find out tenth grade students’ ability in understanding correlative conjunction at SMA Negeri 3 OKU. This study used descriptive quantitative method. The population of this study was 122 of English education study program. The researcher using 30 questions in multiple choices, the writer used one of the types of validity namely content validity. 93 students of samples were taken by using slovin formula.The data was collected through test instrument about correlative conjuntion provide in 30 questions in multiple choice form.The technique for analyzing the data the researcher used scoring system and calculating the averange student’s mean score by using SPSS 19.based on the finding researcher the students score.There was 14 students (15.05%) got very good score,30 students (32.26%) got good score,25 students (26.88%) got fair score,15 students (16.13%) got poor score,and 9 students (9.68%) fail score.the based on the result of mean score was 62,49 it is means that score of the students was fair.so,the tenth grade students’ ability In Understanding Correlative Conjuntion was Fair.
