Abstract

The objective of this research was to investigate how teachers utilize technology- assisted learning media in teaching English at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 53, Baturaja. This research was carried out based on observation, which showed that students at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 53 Baturaja use tech-assisted learning in studying English. This research applied a qualitative method. The researcher used observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation as instruments for collecting the data. The English teacher at SMP Islam Al-Azhar 53 Baturaja has already implemented technology-assisted learning media in their classroom, utilizing various media
such as computers, projectors, and speakers, and applying learning websites like Quizizz as a medium during daily quizzes and Cambridge.One for daily learning. In addition, Canva has also become their teaching media, which has already been implemented in their teaching modules. In conclusion, this research confirms that technology-assisted learning media is no longer just a trend, but an essential need that has now been proven to revolutionize the process of teaching
and learning English, making it more effective, interesting, and relevant to the style that has characterized this digital era.
