Abstract
This study aims to identify the instructional media used by English teachers in relation to the Merdeka Curriculum for eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 28 OKU. A qualitative case study approach was employed. The subject of the
research was the English teacher teaching the eighth-grade students. Data were collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings showed that the teacher utilized diverse types of instructional media, including posters,
laptops, videos, the Board, LCD projector, PowerPoint presentations, audio recordings, and multimedia (digital platforms such as Google Forms and Canva.The implementation of media was categorized into three stages: preparation,
classroom application, and follow-up. These findings highlight the importance ofselecting appropriate media to promote student-centered learning aligned with the
principles of the Merdeka Curriculum.
