Abstract

This study discussed the influence of rotation and promotion on employees' performance at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Baturaja Branch (Case Study on Ex. BNI Syariah). The population in this study was 29 respondents, the data collection technique used in this study was through the distribution of questionnaires. The analytical method used was a quantitative method using multiple linear regression analysis tools. The results of the analysis in this study explained the t-count of each rotation variable (X1) of 2.637 and promotion (X2)mof 2.378 which was greater than the t-table value of 2.056 which stated that each variable had a partial influence on employees' performance at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Baturaja Branch (Case Study on Ex. BNI Syariah). Simultaneously there was an influence of rotation and promotion on employees' performance at PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Baturaja Branch (Case Study on Ex. BNI Syariah) with an Fcount of 7.219, which was greater than Ftable of 3.37, the value of the coefficient of determination (R square) of 0.357, meaning that in this case the contribution of rotation and promotion to positions was 35,7%, while the remaining 64.3% was influenced by other variables outside this research, namely ability, knowledge, work design, personality, work motivation, leadership, leadership style, organizational culture, job satisfaction, work environment, loyalty, commitment, and work discipline. (Kasmir, 2016: 189).
