ANALISIS NILAI MORAL DALAM KUMPULAN LIRIK LAGU KARYA DANAR DAN RELEVANSINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI SMP NEGERI 23 OKU

This research aims to analyze the moral values contained in the collection of song lyrics by Danar Widianto and to explore their relevance to the teaching of Indonesian
language at SMP Negeri 23 OKU. The analyzed songs include "Dulu," "Perjalanan," and "Sebatas Formalitas." These songs were selected because they carry social and emotional themes that closely reflect the realities of adolescent life,
such as bullying, self-acceptance, life struggles, and relational conflict. This study employs an expressive approach and a qualitative descriptive method using
documentation techniques and content analysis ofthe lyrics. The results show that the moral values found in Danar's lyrics can be categorized into three main aspects:(1) human relationships with oneself, including honesty, self-confidence, and resilience; (2) human relationships with others, such as empathy, appreciation for others, and
resistance to oppression; and (3) human relationships with God, which reflect selfawareness, humility, and gratitude expressed through the spirit of life. The relevance of these moral values to Indonesian language learning lies in the potential use of song lyrics as literary teaching materials that can instill character, enhance literary appreciation, and foster students' social awareness. Therefore, the integration of Danar Widianto's song lyrics can serve as an effective alternative in character-based Indonesian language learning at the junior high school level.
