ANALISIS PSIKOLOGI TOKOH UTAMA DALAM NOVEL DUNIA SUNYI KARYA ACHITM SERTA RELEVANSINYA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SASTRA DI SMA

This study aims to analyze the character values in the film Dua Garis Biru andtheir relevance for the younger generation as an effort to strengthen the nation's character. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The primary data
source in this study is the film Dua Garis Biru. Data collection techniques usingobservation, interviews and documentation. For data validation, researchers usedtime extending and triangulation. Analysis according to Miles and Hubermanis divided into data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The resultsof this study are (1) found nine character values that appear in the characters inthefilm Dua Garis Biru namely honest character values, religious character values, responsibility character values, hard work character values, tolerance character values, peace-loving character values, character values social care, creative character values and communicative/friendly character values. (2) the character values displayed are relevant for the younger generation in the educational
environment, namely in the family environment there are values of religious character, hard work, responsibility, compassion, and tolerance. The school environment has friendly/communicative character values and the communityenvironment has social care character values so that this film can be used as a learning medium for parents or teachers with a note that there must be supervision, direction and reinforcement so that the character values displayed can be an effort to strengthen the nation's character. adolescents as the younger generation whohave the responsibility to carry out their role by developing their potential sothat they can contribute to contribute to advancing the nation.
