ANALISIS PSIKOLOGI TOKOH NOVEL TERUSLAH BODOH JANGAN PINTAR KARYA TERE LIYE

The purpose of this study is to describe the psychological analysis of the characters in the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye. The method used in this study is a descriptive method. The data source used in this study is the
novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye. The data collection technique used is the documentation study technique and the data analysis technique used is the work analysis technique. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it is concluded that the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye using the psychoanalytic theory proposed by Sigmund Freud has three aspects, namely id, ego, and superego. This is the basis of research that aims to present the psychological aspects of the characters depicted in the life journey and the process of struggle undertaken by the characters in the novel. From the data analysis, the results obtained are the id aspects of the characters in the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye include aspects of instinct and anxiety. The ego aspects of the characters in the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye include aspects of repression, projection, rationalization, reaction formation, regression, and aggression. The superego aspects of the characters in the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye include
aspects of sadness or grief, hatred, and passionate love.
