ANALISIS MAKNA DENOTASI, KONOTASI, DAN MITOS PADA KUMPULAN LAGU KARYA SAL PRIADI DAN RELEVANSINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN MATA KULIAH TELAAH PUISI

The purpose of this study is to analyze the meaning in a collection of song lyrics by Sal Priadi using Roland Barthes semiotics and describe the relevance between the meaning of song lyrics and the learning of the Poetry Review course. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. Based on the results of data analysis using semiotic analysis, it was found that the lyrics of the song
Dari Planet Lain which means about love, the lyrics of the song Semua Lagu Cinta which means about sadness, the lyrics of the song Kita Usahakan Rumah Itu which means about sincerity, the lyrics of the song Mesra-Mesraannya KecilKecilan Dulu means about simplicity, and the lyrics of the song Gala Bunga Matahari which means loyalty. This research has relevance to the learning of the Poetry Review course described in the data analysis, which can be used as a
reference and example of the use of a semiotic approach as teaching material for students in the learning of the Poetry Review course of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Baturaja University.
